Data Protection Declaration

Collection of general data and information

Our website collects a series of general data and information with each call by an automated system. This general data and information is stored in the server’s log files. The following data may be collected: (1) the browser types and versions used, (2) the operating system used by the accessing system, (3) the website from which an accessing system accesses our website, (4) the date and time of access to the website, (6) an Internet protocol address (IP address), (7) the Internet service provider of the accessing system. When using these general data, we do not draw any conclusions about the data subject. Rather, this information is needed to correctly deliver the content of our website, to optimize the content of our website and to ensure the functionality of our information technology systems and the technology of our website.

SSL – or TLS- Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Collection of personal data through contact form or request by e-mail

If you send us inquiries via contact form or e-mail, the information you provide in the inquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be sent to us and stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is based exclusively on your consent. You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The processing of your data, which you transmit to us via e-mail, is based on your consent and/or on our legitimate interest, as we have a legitimate interest in the effective processing of the request directed to us.

Cookies

The internet pages partly use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you have requested (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analyzing your surfing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this privacy policy.

Your rights

With respect to your personal data, you have legal rights under applicable data protection laws. These include the right to: Information, correction or deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing and data portability of your personal data. In addition, you have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data.

Upon request, we can inform you whether and which personal data is stored about you. You can object to the further use of your personal data or restrict its use. Please address your request in writing to:

Links to third-party websites

This website may contain links to third-party websites. We would like to point out that we have no control over the websites and data protection provisions of these third-party providers. Therefore, no liability is assumed for the content of external links. The operators of the linked sites are solely responsible for their content. The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations and recognizable infringements at the time of linking. Illegal contents were not recognizable at the time of linking. However, a permanent control of the contents of the linked pages is not reasonable without concrete evidence of a violation of the law. If we become aware of any infringements, such links will be removed immediately.

Privacy policy on the use and application of YouTube

YouTube components are integrated on our website. YouTube is an Internet video portal that allows video publishers to upload videos free of charge and other users to view, comment on and rate these videos free of charge. The operating company of YouTube is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin, DO4 E5W5, Ireland.

Each time individual pages of this website are accessed on which a YouTube component (YouTube video) has been integrated, the Internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically prompted by the respective YouTube component to download a representation of the corresponding YouTube component. Within the scope of this technical procedure, YouTube and Google receive knowledge about which specific subpage of our website is visited by the data subject.

If the data subject is logged into YouTube at the same time, YouTube recognizes which specific sub-page of our website the data subject is visiting by calling up a sub-page that contains a YouTube video. This information is collected by Google and YouTube and assigned to the respective YouTube account of the data subject.

YouTube and Google always receive information via the YouTube component that the data subject has visited our website if the data subject is simultaneously logged into YouTube at the time of calling up our website; this takes place regardless of whether the data subject clicks on a YouTube video or not. If such transmission of this information to YouTube or Google is not desired, the data subject can prevent the transmission by logging out of their YouTube account before accessing our website.

Newsletter: “News and progress”

If you would like to receive the “I would like to be informed about news and progress by e-mail” function offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data will not be collected or only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

The processing of the data entered in the corresponding contact form is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke the granted consent for the storage of the data, the e-mail address as well as their use for sending news and progress at any time. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you have deposited with us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data that has been stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this.
